I’m so sorry for not posting for a while! I’ve been caught up with end of year gatherings and organising my trip overseas at the end of this month. >.< I will definitely get my act together, starting now! LOL
I was really excited to try the Liquid Spot when it was released because the AC Clinic line worked really well for my skin and I am still using the Pink Powder Spot (my HG)!
.
.
Similar to the rest of the AC Clinic range, the Liquid Spot is housed in a small green glass container. The Liquid Spot differentiates itself from the Pink Powder Spot through factors of convenience and portability. The product is dispensed by pressing the opening (covered by mesh) directly onto the affected areas and apparently it can be used any time and surely anywhere. In addition, since it does not leave a noticeable stain (the product is transparent), it can be used under make-up.
.
I was actually quite disappointed with the packaging but not because of its aesthetics but because of its functionality. The dispenser is poorly made and I basically broke it during the first use while I was inspecting how it was constructed. The mesh came apart, so now I dispense the product by pressing my finger onto the opening until the product is dispensed and then apply it with my finger tips.
In addition, the product can actually feel quite sticky once applied onto the skin so it can be a bit annoying. Honestly, I prefer the Pink Powder Water and Spot over this product only because they both give a matte finish.
Furthermore, one of its redeeming qualities is supposedly its portability, however, a glass bottle may not be the most appropriate container for the product to be housed in. In contrast, if a plastic container was used instead, then it might lead people to perceive that the product is poorly-made/cheap. No one wins here. >.<

Pros:
- Quite effective
- Didn’t break me out
- Small and compact
- Sturdy
Cons:
- Design flaw: dispenser is faulty
- Sticky feeling
- Has typical medicinal scent (common among AC Clinic products)
- Glass bottle hence should be handled with care
.
This is the dispenser after I removed the mesh that used to be on top.

Overall, this is a so-so product in which I can surely live without. Despite its numerous cons, I am still using this product in the morning before I apply my make up for the sake of using it up. In terms of effectiveness, it is lacking quite a bit. I don’t feel as if it has treated my pimples and certainly no where near the effectiveness of the Pink Powder Spot. This may be due to my skin and its characteristics so other people may have better luck with this product~ However, I won’t be repurchasing this. It isn’t a bad product but not good enough for me to repurchase.
.
Random note: OMG I recently found out that I am going to Krabi during my visit to Thailand! My itinerary will be almost identical to Onew’s trip in SHINee’s One Fine Day~ I’m soooo excited! :D

Until next time, jst.hero <3
